Uncover a realm of opportunities.
Life is short and filled with twists and turns, sometimes straight lines and others with zigzags, however, how we take this road and how we make it our own will make the journey worth the while.

The adventure of a lifetime.
Hi, I’m Cami! A little introduction about me, I am a 24 year old Latina woman who has moved a lot in her life. I have lived in two countries with different cultures and languages, which has help me expand my mind, perspectives, opportunities and has given me the chance to share an experience many go through but do not know how to navigate.
While I had amazing opportunities that I would have never gotten if my personal situation hadn’t changed, my life was not easy. With all good comes bad, and vice versa, and one activity that always improved my though process and my mood was walking. It always felt like I was distancing myself from the problem to think and see things differently to find a solution.
At some point about four years ago, while living in Florida, I discovered that I could go on hikes, enjoy nature and that more often than not I would have a new outlook on life. Here is where my adventure started, and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Caution: I am an intermediate hiker. Please understand that all I am posting is me still learning along the way, while I sometimes make mistakes. I will also share those, so we can all learn.
I will write once a week, sharing the process and how it all looks from my perspective. While this is not everyone’s method of planning for an adventure, I find its the most basic and general that works for me.
Week 1
Research + Plan
We choose a location to start an adventure and investigate what is needed, what needs paying, and request the days off needed.
Week 2
gather necessary equipment
Once research is complete, we start checking and gathering what we need, while it be for one day or for a weekend trip.
Week 3
pack and double check
We make a list of that is needed, and of what was paid with the confirmation pages/emails at hand. How to pack and what to pack where is also important.
Week 4
enjoy the results
I will share how it went, the pictures, the mistakes, the successes, and what we learned.
